The University of Bergen intends to enter into a contract with Nanometrics Inc. for an additional delivery of 10 seismometers and the accompanying registration units. The equipment will be used to supplement and expand the seismic network of permanent seismic stations in Norway, as well as to increase the total number of mobile seismic instrument sets, which together make up an instrument pool for use during special events/data acquisition.
