Lyhyt kuvaus
The Nordic Council of Ministers is Policy Area Coordinator for Bioeconomy in EU’s Baltic Sea Region Strategy. The policy area covers also agriculture, forestry, fisheries and rural development and contributes to the fulfilment of the strategy. Besides NCM, national authorities from Sweden, Finland and Lithuania are leading the Policy Area of Bioeconomy.
The aim of the project is to perform a bioeconomy trend analysis in the Baltic Sea Region, identifying the most relevant macro trends for bioeconomy in the region. The results of the analysis will be used to support policy dialog within the national and regional stakeholders of EUSBSR and the NCM.
