Renovation of an existing Norwegian/Russian border fence on the stretch from Midtfjell towards Storskog in Sør-Varanger municipality in Finnmark County. The fence is 13 km long.
Approx. 100 posts shall be replaced and supplemented on the stretch. Posts that are broken or in bad condition are to be replaced. The post must be banged/drilled down into the ground to a depth of approx. 50 cm. Round impregnated 3 metre posts must be used, with a diameter of 10 cm. 5 metre posts with a diameter of 12 cm must be used in hollows, approx. 50 posts. Rock fastenings must be used between 20-100 posts.
A net shall be set up, with a height of 125 cm, it must be fastened with at least 3 clamps per post and, in addition, 2 rows of curved wire above the netting. Gripples shall be used for joining the netting, 1 200 gripples medium size for fastening the netting and 104 gripples large size for joining the curved wire.
