Folkehelseinstituttet [the Norwegian Institute of Public Health] is implementing an open tender competition for the procurement of vaccine against rota virus for the base vaccination of infants in the Norwegian child vaccination programme, starting up in Q2 2019. The competition is carried out as an open competitive tender, a one step process where all interested suppliers may submit a tender. Negotiations are not allowed. The objective of the procurement is to enter into a contract for the delivery of the rotavirus vaccine for base vaccination of infants in the Norwegian Child Vaccination Programme. The start of vaccination under the new agreement is anticipated to occur in Q2/Q3 2019. The procurement was first announced on 1.6.2018 and then cancelled on 7.6.2018. The Doffin reference numbers to the cancelled competition are 2018-088615 and 2018-347723 respectively. The reasons for the cancellation are in the Doffin notice.
