The Norwegian Institute of Bioeconomy Research (NIBIO) was established 1.7.2015. The Institute merged with the Norwegian Institute for Agricultural and Environmental Research (Bioforsk), the Norwegian Forest and Landscape Institute (NILF), and the Norwegian Agricultural Economics Research Institute. NBIO conducts a lot of field activities. The field activities are implemented in connection with agriculture and forestry, in mountains and by sea. Major activities are also conducted at large construction sites, workshops, and in laboratories NIBIO intends to enter into parallel framework agreements with up to 5 suppliers of work clothes and protective equipment. The agreement shall ensure NIBIO favourable procurements, increased efficiency processes and reduced costs in general.
NIBIO is nationwide, from Landvik in south to Svanvik in north, divided in 18 locations This means that we request suppliers for the deliveries for many locations, and with a wide assortment and well established logistic systems.
