This tender concerns the provision of:
A. Electrical/Project Engineers and
B. Infrastructure Specialists (HVAC systems, helicopters, fueling, cranes, diesel generators and firefighting).
Typical tasks and responsibilities for both roles may include the provision of technical expertise on specific topics and/or portion(s) of offshore wind projects as defined by the Employer in the area of Grid Connections, Offshore Substations (OSS), Inner Array Cabling (IAC) and Infrastructure. Assignments will have a technical or technical/commercial focus and may take place at any point within the life of a project: development, procurement, design, manufacturing, construction, handover as a generating asset.
— Support of Electrical package manager or Technical Project Manager in technical contract handling from tendering till close-out of variations and claims.
— Administrative tasks within Electrical package e.g. document handling, taking minutes, action list etc. and act as deputy at times.
— Monitoring deliveries of supplier along time schedule and engage to support successful progress (for their relevant discipline).
— Ensure contractors are acting in accordance to expected HSE practice.
— Combine technical matters with contractual and commercial relevance.
— Preparation of project specific Employer Requirements and ITT documents including alignment with requirement owners. Take part in OSS or IAC procurement process including evaluation and negotiation of bids and final selection.
— Ensure that works are carried out in accordance with scope of supply and the Employers Requirements while meeting requirements of O&M.
— Conduct technical analysis of emerging matters e.g. involving internal and external experts.
— Take on handling of interfaces of Electrical package towards other project areas, e.g.
o Steer relevant input and ensure design optimization between Grid Connection Point, OSS, IAC, Foundation and WTG.
o Manage proper design and installation of electrical and/or infrastructure components between WTG and Grid Connection Point.
o Coordination of tasks related to grid code compliance and SCADA implementation.
o Exchange and solve all relevant matters towards OSS and IAC installation vessel.
— Prepare and align (with Quality Management and technical experts) program for supply chain review and quality surveillance activities for manufacturing phase and up to commissioning for Electrical package. Set and operate reporting and documentation flow, coordinate planning and activities of site inspectors and handle close-out of Non-conformities with components supplier.
— Implement aligned (with Certification Engineer) Certification requirements towards OSS and IAC supplier. Secure deliverables are technical conform and documents in expected quality to fulfill Certification requirements.
— Working as Electrical Project Engineer / Manager /Infrastructure within a team of other specialists in UK, Denmark and Germany.
Assignments will be based mainly in Vattenfall's London (UK), Kolding (DK) or Hamburg (GER) offices and potentially in Amsterdam (NL) and Solna (SE). Travel between offices and to other locations within Northern Europe will also be required.
