The objective of the contract is to establish a contract for an assortment of mattress tops and complete mattresses with pressure preventive qualities, with a range that covers the Health Trusts' major requirements.
The below listed product categories are included in the contract.
1. Mattress tops.
2. Complete mattresses.
3. Bariatric complete mattresses for very heavy patients, 120 cm.
The Contracting Authority therefore requests tenders for the hire of alternating pressure / anti-decubitus mattresses for prevention and treatment of decubitus. The contract includes both complete mattresses and mattress tops. Our estimated 24 hours requirement for mattresses is divided as follows:
Stavanger Health Trust; 70 mattress tops.
Fonna Health Trust; 32 mattress tops.
Førde Health Trust: 10 mattress tops.
The estimated required number of mattresses amounts to an annual value of approx. 5 000 000 NOK excluding VAT, and approx. 20 000 000 NOK over a 4 year period.
