Two black and white high speed cameras (HSC) are required for single oil drop breakage experiments in water phase by high speed image analysis. The experimental setup consists of a vertical squared channel of dimensions 3 cm x 3 cm x 120 cm in which the water flows with a cross-sectional average velocity in the range 0.5-5 m/s. Single drops are injected into the water flow and eventual breakage events are analyzed. The price should include optics covering a measuring volume (Field of view (FOV)) with a cross section of dimensions 5 cm x 5 cm and a height that might be in the range from 10 cm up to about 60 cm to capture the breakage event from initial drop deformation to the end of the breakage event cascade. The height of the measuring volume is uncertain as it may vary with the turbulence characteristics, physical properties of the system, drop interface properties, etc.
For further requirements of the objective, please see the technical specification in appendix 1 (see attached).
