Lyhyt kuvaus

Nøtterøy kommune (NK) has a collection of approximately 60 buildings of newer and older age. The buildings are data connected via a private star topology trunk fibre network. The fibre goes via the municipal computer room and is further connected to the inter-municipal fibre network cooperation, V-MAS (Vestfold Metropolitan Aeria Nettwork).

Access to the internet also occurs via the inter-municipal cooperation.

The cooperation also operates a wireless network across municipal borders based on Cisco Controller and Cisco access points.

The central components in the above mentioned network are standardised on the Cisco brand and are monitored by Cisco Prime. It is desirable that earlier investments in equipment and expertise are continued in this tender.

The framework agreement shall ensure flexibility in regard to changes in product, function and performance requirements as well as assembly of products and refers in this instance to the provisions of the agreement regarding mark-up percentage.

Components which will eventually be phased out in the agreement period, can within the framework agreement be replaced by new products with at least the same functionality and capacity, but not significantly more expensive.

Likewise, the framework agreements includes new products that provide a better cost/benefit.

The tender will comprise the network electronics in the buildings related to access points, main switch (where this is used), edge switches, lasers and relevant software licenses.
