Lyhyt kuvaus

This is a Request for Information (RFI) where the aim is to get a response from the market to questions we have on ferries in Lysefjorden. The response to this RFI is not part of any imminent procurement process and will not obligate either the tenderer or Kolumbus in regard to any later procurement. The deadline for submitting responses is 14 June 2021 at 12.00. See the attached documents for further information. Responses are to be sent to anbud@kolumbus.no The assignment will not be compensated. Kolumbus has started work on a new contest for the operation of the ferry route in Lysefjorden. The next contract will include a need for greater capacity than the current system with a combination boat, as well as low/zero emission technology. Kolumbus would therefore like feedback and information from operators, shipyards, and ship designers on conditions around the technical, operative feasibility and costly elements. After a public hearing, Kolumbus has received input from users, municipalities, and other interested parties, which mainly concerns: • travel time; • manoeuvring time; and • manoeuvring capabilities in bad weather (including at small quays). See the annexes: Annex 1: Example of a timetable Annex 2: Map of the route Kolumbus would like responses to the following, given mentioned timetable/route: • Are the requirements feasible? • Are any of the requirements particularly costly? • Other conditions that can be of interest, or that suppliers believe Kolumbus ought to take into consideration for the further work?
