The evaluation should cover the existing guidelines and related instruments for the period 2017-2019. The current Guidelines for the Nordic Council of Ministers’ co-operation with Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania from 2014 determine the activities of the Nordic Council of Ministers, and are regarded as a starting point for the development of joint ambitions and activities within Nordic-Baltic cooperation.
The primary geographical scope is limited to Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania as well as the Nordic Countries, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden.
The outcome of the evaluation will form the basis for discussion of the Nordic-Baltic co-operation in the Ministerial Council and the Senior Official Committee and hence form part of the basis for any adjustments in the guidelines.
