The Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation (DALO) is conducting a market survey and therefore are looking for information how to structure a possible future tender regarding a Dual-Mode Hand-Grenade system. DALO is requesting a Dual-Mode Hand-Grenade system where the individual soldier, in the combat situation, can decide and adapt the hand grenade to either blast or fragmentation effect. The soldier shall be able to add an outer ‘fragment shell’ which changes the effect from blast alone to blast and fragmentation. The soldier shall be able to remove an outer ‘fragment shell’ which changes the effect from blast and fragmentation to blast alone. The purpose of this request is to understand how the best possible tender can be arranged for DALO, suppliers and end-users at the Danish Defence. Potential suppliers can use the link in section I.1) to get access to the ethics tender system and the RFI documents. DALO request's that potential suppliers upload their response no later than 16 July 2020 at 13.00, local time.
