The Contracting Authority is Boreal Bane AS, which is the operator for Gråkallbanen in Trondheim. Gråkallbanen is a narrow gauge tramway, which, with 6 scheduled trams and a small number of veteran trams, annually transports approx. 1 000 000 passengers out of and into the centre of Trondheim.
Boreal Bane AS maintains and operates the rolling stock and the tramway's infrastructure.
Boreal Bane AS is part of the public group Boreal, which transports passengers by bus, ferry, fast boat and tram nationwide.
