Tenderers are invited to an open tender contest for the delivery of the following consultancy services for the renovation of a new exhibition in Båthallen at the Norwegian Maritime Museum, which is a department of Stiftelsen Norsk Folkemusuem.

ARK, IARK — Architect and interior architect services.

The competition will be held in accordance with the Public Procurement Regulations dated 17.6.2016 part III (commencing 1.1.2017). The total engineering design fees are estimated to be above the EEA threshold (1 100 000 NOK).

Båthallen is the Norwegian Maritime Museum's (previously the Norwegian Shipping Museum) first construction stage from 1958. The building has been closed since 2009. The project shall give the museum a new arena for Norwegian coast culture. It shall be a new and easily available attraction for all visitors to Bygdøynes and it shall make the Norsk Maritime Museum better equipped to reach its offensive target for visitor growth. Båthallen shall open to the public in May 2019.
