This contract is for the construction of 3 km of new county road along Langbakken. This new road route will require new culverts, car parks and car parks with a view. The new road route will mainly be built with a new road line, with some of the road at both ends being built along the old road line. Road railings are to be established on parts of the road stretch. The old road up Langbakken to Hollendervika will be altered to a foot and cycle path. New street lights that follow the foot and cycle path are to be established on the road stretch.
The project conflicts with both the main water pipelines for Skjervøy municipality. These must be altered by crossing the road in three places. At one of the crossings, the plan is to lay the water pipelines in the foot and cycle path on an approx. 500 m stretch. In addition, extra pipelines shall be laid at three of the road crossings.
The work shall mainly be carried out between profile 80 and profile 2950.
