Københavns Universitet Nørregade 10 København K 1017 Caroline Volf +45 35333391 caroline.volf@adm.ku.dk www.oko.ku.dk university Acquisition of a Thorlabs' Bergamo Series Multiphoton Microscope to Center for Basic and Translational Neuroscience, University of Copenhagen. 0043-0215-16-7000 Center for Basic and Translational Neuroscience comprises two principal research groups and has a total of 30 employees and students. The Center's research is focused on neural stem cell and glial progenitor biology as well as on astrocytic physiology and pathology, cerebral blood flow and its glial regulation. 1693790.00 Thorlabs' Bergamo Series Multiphoton Microscope is a combined two-photon imaging, slice electrophysiology and optogenetics set-up will be essential for our studies of the brain and will be used on a regular basis in lab to image, record and modulate cell activity in brain slices. Thorlabs' Bergamo Series Multiphoton Microscope is a workhorse dedicated to in vivo imaging. It uses an advanced motion control system that allows three-axis and rotational control over the imaging plane. Not bound by the spatial constraints of conventional microscopy systems, it is a powerful system for behavioural neuroscience or large specimens. With a selection of rigid bodies, numerous auxiliary imaging modalities, detectors, motion control, and laser beam control, the permutations of the Bergamo II Series are endless — well suited for behavioural neuroscience experiments using 2-photon excitation methods. We have an existing microscope from Thorlabs and the various modules can be swapped between the new and the existing setup, giving us more flexibility. The detector module has a 14 degree collection angle to capture more of the cattered photons. This in combination with the shutter in the module is unique for the Thorlabs Bergamo systems. The system could also be converted to an in-vivo setup by removing the modules below the sample holder (making it similar to our existing). If maintenance would be required, both systems could be serviced in one visit. In addition, both systems would run on the same software platform — so no additional learning of a different software. 2016-06-15 Thorlabs Sweden AB Bergfotsgatan 7 Molndal 431 35 +46 317333011 orosenqvist@thorlabs.com +46 317034045 1693790.00 Klagenævnet for Udbud Dahlerups Pakhus, Langelinie Allé 17 København Ø 2100 +45 35291000 klfu@erst.dk http://www.klfu.dk A complaint against the contracting entity who, in accordance with the European Parliament and Council Directive No. 2014/24/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council , Article 32, has decided to award a contract without prior publication of a contract notice in the Official Journal of the European Union must,in accordance with the Danish act on enforcement of procurement rules, etc. § 7, para. 3, be filed to the Danish Public procurement Appeal Board within 30 calendar days from the day following the day on which a contract notice is published in the Official Journal of the European Union.
