The Bekkelaget treatment plant will be expanded from the current capacity of 290 000 population equivalents (pe) to approximately 490 000 pe. The extension will be built in the mountains north and south of the existing mountain facility.
The ‘Fjell’ construction contract is comprised of the following main elements;
- 6 new caverns;
- Caverns for technical installations (digesters, sludge treatment, fat receptions);
- Access Tunnel;
- Transport Tunnel;
- Ventilation Tunnel.
A total of approximately 465 000 m3 of solid rock.The planned construction period for the ‘Fjell’ contract are the 2014–2016 summers.
This invitation applies to the procurement of ‘Engineering Geology for the Fjell contract.’
