SOFIE contains basic information of debtors and creditors in connection with payment of taxes. The basis for this is updated information from the Central Coordinating Register for Legal Entities, the National Register, the Register of Employers, the Register of Employees as well as information from a number of systems which determine payment of taxes and excises.
In order to run an efficient debt collection system, a lot of information from external registers of debtors' financial conditions is required. The result from a reference in an external registered is filed in Sofie. This shall be used as documentation of collected information and for future use, if any.
The request includes register references towards the following registers:
— The Property Register.
— The Register of Mortgaged Movable Property.
— The Vehicle Register.

It is recommended that the tender is submitted well before the deadline for receipt of tenders. If there is additional information from the awarding authority which leads to changing the tender before the deadline expires, the tenderer can go in and open the tender and make any changes and send it in again right up until the deadline. The last received tender is considered as the final one
