NRK have released several self-service services for our employees lately. Password reset is one example. This has been very successful. NRK is now looking to expand the use of these services to another field, group management.
Group Management in this case means the ability for an Active Directory user to change roles in different type of Active Directory groups (distribution, security etc.). Today our users need to generate a ticket with IT support to make changes with groups in Active Directory. This is not very efficient, both from the customer and support side.
NRK uses Microsoft Active Directory (AD) and Microsoft Exchange as infrastructure foundation. At the beginning of November 2012 NRK had approximately 8500 AD groups
