What is requested to be purchased
Hereby Flytoget AS invites to competition for delivery and implementation of Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Point of Sale (POS) terminals to Flytoget’s Ticket Vending Machines (TVM), including maintenance agreement. This is a procurement under the threshold value (supply sector) with voluntary announcement in Mercell.
Flytoget wishes to purchase an implementation where the chosen supplier will be responsible for the total delivery of new EFT terminals in all TVMs – including hardware, software, implementation services and maintenance services. The purpose is to equip all TVMs with secure, stable, user-friendly, fast, extensible and future oriented state-of-the art payment terminals.
Delivery scope
The volume of the purchase includes 23 operational EFT terminals, 3 for spare parts and 2 for tests purposes. It also includes 28 mounting plates and installed and configured terminal- and integration software for all terminals.
The requested service delivery includes full scope implementation services like installation, configuration, test and pilot. It also includes operational and maintenance service for the entire delivery scope in a five year period.
As an option Flytoget wishes that The Tenderer buy the 23 current Ingenico 9400 payment terminals.

Submission of the tender
The tender letter should confirm that the proposed tender is valid until six months after the closing date for submitting the tender (i.e. to July 29th 2010).

· Responses shall be submitted electronically via Mercell.
· Additional information that the vendor finds relevant may be added as Appendices to the Contract in the Tender Letter.

When the tenders have been received, Flytoget AS will conduct an initial evaluation. From the set of suppliers who satisfy the qualification criteria, Flytoget will based upon evaluation criteria choose which suppliers that will be invited for negotiations. The selection will be made according to the criteria of the Request for Proposal (FRP). Feedback will be provided through Mercell. Suppliers who qualify and proceed to the final evaluation phase must be able to provide solution prototypes during the evaluation period and no later than 12th of February 2010.
At least 2 suppliers will be selected to prototype test and negotiations provided there are sufficient numbers of suitable suppliers.
