Pavadinimas Supply of the tertiary membrane components for the DUNE/LBNF detector cryostats
Trumpas pirkimo aprašymas CERN intends to place a contract for the production of tertiary membrane components required for the construction of the warm structures of two cryostats for the Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE), hosted at Sanford Underground Research Facility (SURF) in Lead, South Dakota (US). The tertiary membrane components required for each cryostat are: plates of a thickness of 12 mm of different length all of a width of 1600 mm corresponding to approximate weight of 428 tonnes and ribs of a thickness of 12 mm of different length all of a width of 150 mm corresponding to approximate weight of 160 tonnes. The components shall be painted and welded. The material for the plates and ribs shall be S460ML (1.8838). The manufacturing shall be performed as per drawings provided by CERN and in accordance with EN1090-2: EXC2.
Interested firms shall have a proven experience in the manufacturing and assembly metal components of welded steel structures.
