Hanke lühikirjeldus
Statens vegvesen (the Norwegian Public Roads Administration), hereafter called the Contracting Authority, wants tenders for delivery of infrasonics for automatic detection of avalanche activity in two locations E8 through Lavangsdalen in Tromsø kommune (Tromsø Municipality) and national road 15 through Grasdalen in Stryn municipality.
The purpose of this procurement is to reduce the probability of crews and road users driving into avalanche masses, provide a basis for more precise avalanche notifications, contribute to effective decision-making processes with regard to closing roads, opening roads, preventive avalanche control and other emergency preparedness.
