Overall objective The overall objective of this project is to contribute to more effective and sustainable design and implementation of gender mainstreaming strategies and initiatives to allow and foster real progress in gender equality in the EU and its Member States. Specific objective The specific objective of the tender is to improve the technical capacity of institutional mechanisms for gender equality and support the use of gender mainstreaming as the strategy to achieve gender equality and an effective tool to close the gaps between commitments to gender equality and the policies and programmes of the EU and EU Member States.
