The University of Oslo, the Department of Physics, is engaged in several development projects at CERN, CH.
The procurement is intended to for use in prototype development and production of detector modules,
first and foremost for the Atlas upgrading to high luminosity project, but other projects are also relevant.
Particularly in relation to the high-energy physics environment.
Description
— A fully automatic wedge machine, 17-50 µm thread diameter.
— Minimum wedge area; 100 x 200 mm2.
— The machine shall have 90° thread feeding with option for wedging ‘wells’.
Up to 20 mm deep access.
— A programmable system with automatic pattern recognitions.
— A workpiece holder with vacuum.
— An operator microscope for use in setups of the machine.
