The project comprises the construction of a new foot and bicycle path network from the Bygne Junction (XF v 47) to Østrembruvegen. A combined access road and foot and bicycle path shall be built in the northern section. Exit clearance shall be also be included, which involves the construction of a new access road in Pilehagen and various other minor measures on municipal land. 2 residences hall be demolished at the junction of Østrembruvegen and Avaldsnesvegen. 2 sea fillings shall be performed. The sea fillings and one marshland area will be preloaded with blasted stone. The Contractor must allow for these masses to lie undisturbed for at least 6 to 12 months. The water and sewage installation for Karmøy kommune shall also be replaced along the route. Work shall also be carried out for Gasnor, with new and existing gas pipeline.
