To facilitate the move of production facilities to DR Aarhus, DR needs to purchase IP-terminals for transfer of real time video and MADI services over IP.
A capacity of at least 20 SD/HD-SDI bidirectional channels and 3 bidirectional MADI interface with 64 channels per MADI are needed. Most of the video channels should employ uncompressed video, but some of the video channels should be able to employ JPEG2000 compression in order to save transmis-sion capacity.
DR is responsible for establishing the point-to-point GbE connections between the DR Aarhus and DR Byen. A capacity of 2 x 40 Gbit/s is planned for video and audio contribution. The network connections will be made with 1+1 redundancy. IP terminal interfaces will be 10G.
For budget reasons DR does not require, that the terminals are completely new. They may be slightly used, although they shall be in mint condition and at time of offer not more than one year old, and should be under full warranty.
