Enova wants to map the affect different signalling systems from digital electricity meters (AMS meters) can have on Norwegian households' energy consumption, and announces a contest for participants in the power industry. In co-operation with NVE, Enova wants to gather knowledge and experiences about which systems for real-time feedback provide the greatest response amongst the households in an early phase of the roll-out of the AMS meters. The contests seeks tenderers nationwide. The projects selected shall registered energy use and experiences both in an introductory phase and over time. The contest is arranged in co-operation with NVE.
The contest shall demonstrate technologies, services and business models for real-time information about electricity consumption which provides the highest possible energy conservation and assists in increasing awareness of energy consumption, hereunder:
— Technical solutions for real-time information about self electricity consumption.
— Platform, functionality, user friendliness, design etc.
— Services to end users and possibly others.
— Information, guidance, advising, energy management, automation etc.
— Business model.
— Business concept, value for customers, value for the company, co-operation partners, distribution of costs and any income etc.
