Stortinget har gjennom statsbudsjett for 2018 besluttet permanent stengning og avslutning av gruveaktivitetene i Svea og Lunckefjell på Svalbard.

Prosjektet vil deles inn i tre faser: Fase 1 «Opprydding Lunckefjell», Fase 2A «Opprydding Svea Nord gruva» og Fase 2B «Opprydding Svea samfunn». Denne anskaffelsen gjelder Fase 2A "Opprudding Svea Nord gruva".
