Short description
ROAF has sorted food waste in all its owner municipalities since January 2014. The food waste bags are sorted from the residual waste at ROAF's new sorting facility. Source sorting of food waste is an important measure in increasing the amount of material recycled in ROAF, so that less of the residual waste is incinerated. The aim is to gather 70 % of all food waste in green bags by 2030, at the same time that the amount of edible food that is thrown away (food wastage) is reduced. The bags used for the sorting are purchased by ROAF and distributed to the households. ROAF would like tenders for the delivery of two different types of plastic, green food waste bags. In addition to the green bags, ROAF also needs a smaller number of see-through sacks with different print and in different sizes.
