E16 Øye - Eids Bridge requires electrotechnical installations connected to the approx. 2 km long Rødøls tunnel, as well as some hundred metres with street lights. The installations are to be equipped as a tunnel in class B, in accordance with the Norwegian Public Roads Administration´s hand book N500. The installations will include:
— street lights,
— tunnel lighting,
— tunnel fans,
— boards for normal electricity,
— boards for emergency electricity,
— UPS installations,
— radio (DAB) installations,
— emergency stations with emergency telephones and fire extinguishers,
— gas, wind and light sensors,
— camera installations throughout the tunnel,
— control installations (PLS),
— programming the control installations and interface with Vegtrafikksentralen aust,
— cable installations for normal electricity,
— cable installations for emergency electricity,
— escape lighting.
Technical buildings, conduit installations, cable racks and the parts of the earthing system that are in the ground shall be carried out by another contractor.
