Attention is drawn to the fact that this is a new notice for a previously cancelled competition dated 10.5.2017. A change has been made in the ‘must-requirement’ point 13 on the integrated navigation system, as the previous wording unintentionally excluded one or several suppliers.
The contracting authority intends to procure a new TMS apparatus — for use in the Psychiatric Clinic, St. Olavs Hospital.
Description
A TMS, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation apparatus, produces and delivers short term, quick alternating magnetic stimuli to induce electrical currents in a localised area in the brain (cerebral cortex) and is used to treat patients with depression. The neuro navigation system shall be used to focus the magnetic field on the correct brain area. Scope:
1 complete system, TMS Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation apparatus, as well as an option for 2 equivalent systems.
