The Contracting Authority needs buses that can carry passengers on a determined stretch in a situation where the regular service offer:
a) does not have sufficient capacity,
b) is experiencing such large operational charges that the customers cannot be carried as planned,
c) must be suspended due to inaccessible infrastructure and/or personnel, or
d) other non-planned deviation from planned production, as well as,
e) in other situations that may required (mitigation) measures from Ruter.
As well as the situations listed above, it may be necessary to put buses on stretches that normally do not have a regular service offer. Therefore this contract has a broad area of use. Of natural causes, the Contracting Authority anticipates that the majority of assignments will be in or in the vicinity of central Oslo due to the large passenger volume, but assignments outside of Oslo must also be anticipated.
