The Danish Emergency Relief Fund (DERF) will enable civil society organisations to respond to natural disasters, conflicts or other acute humanitarian crisis.
The consultant shall:
— Design modalities and technical procedures related to the Fund, including procedures for pre-qualification of applicants; application and approval process, financial and technical monitoring, reporting, etc.
— Ensure the overall management of the Fund, including quality assurance, reporting, and monitoring and evaluation of the CSOs.
— Develop and maintain a DERF website and database.
The staff provided by the consultant will be mobilised Jan 2017 and cover a period of 48 months.
Staff to be provided includes a fund manager (full-time) and a financial controller and support staff (part-time).
The consultant shall have proven experience in fund administration, emergency relief activities, website and database management, and preferably knowledge of the Danish humanitarian and civil society sector.
