In connection with the construction of a the National road 509 Sømmevågen and Flyplassvegen, Statens vegvesen is obligated to implement noise measures on nearby properties that experience noise above the marginal value, stated in the planning regulations to the project. In accordance with the noise mapping executed by Sinus AS, noise reduction measures must be implemented on 27 residential units. Facade measures shall be implemented in the form of new windows, new vents, noise insulation of walls, balanced ventilation, etc. In addition, several of the residences shall have their outdoor areas shielded. The scope of measures are stated in the description and reports, included in the tender documentation.
