Short description

The Danish Costal Authority wants to develop an interactive tool that municipalities in Denmark can use for flood risk assessment in relation to sea level rise and storm surges. The tool should be capable of screening potential solutions to prevent damage from storms and elevated water levels. It should be a modelling tool, not a tool designed to calculate dimensions of any protective measures.

The tool shall be designed to integrate two existing models:
1. Danish Costal Authority’s economic damage model, which was developed for use with the Flood Directive.
2. The SFINCS flood model, which is also used for the Flood Directive and is set up on a national level for Denmark.
