Building on its past work on climate-related mobility, and its collaboration with the International Centre for Migration Policy Development and the Rabat Process on the report “Climate-related events and environmental stressors' roles in driving migration in West and North Africa”, MMC is undertaking a project on climate and mobility in collaboration with the Khartoum Process (KP), looking more closely at responses and activities in the countries included in this process/dialogue.
The consultancy is expected to result in maximum two real-time review reports, analyzing findings and learnings from past and ongoing diaspora emergency responses, including recommendations on future programmatic approaches as to how to engage with diaspora during humanitarian response.
