Ålesund kommunale Eigedom KF plans to announce a contest in the near future for the procurement of a turnkey contract for the construction of a new primary and secondary school, Eidet School, at Vatnevegen 41, 6265 Vatne. We would thus like to notify the market about the pending contest.
The turnkey contract contest is planned to be based on the completed draft and preliminary project. The tender notice is scheduled to be announced before the summer holiday, but it could also be at a later date.
The turnkey contract is planned to include the construction of the new school and outside area, with direct connection to the existing Eidet Arts Hall. The school will have the capacity for 500 pupils from 1st to 10th years. Vatne Secondary School is currently located on the school site, and is to be demolished after the new school building has been constructed. In addition the measure also includes the establishment of a new traffic solution for the area in accordance with the ongoing detailed development plan.
