There is a need to increase the security of supply of water to the Holmenkollen - Voksenåsen area. A new transmission line between Skuggen and Voksenkollveien shall contribute to bilateral supply for the area. The establishment of a new transmission line will contribute to the facilitation of new housing and urban development, make the supply to the area less vulnerable and to supply enough water with enough pressure for the area Holmenkollen - Voksenåsen.
