The Municipal Undertaking for Culture and Sports Facilities Oslo (henceforth also referred to as KID) is a municipal entity owned by Oslo municipality to build/construct, develop, operate and maintain purpose-built buildings. KID manages 37 properties. The number of properties can vary in the contract period.
The buildings mainly consist of sports halls, indoor ice rinks, outdoor ice rinks, stadiums and cultural buildings. Our tenants are mainly municipal departments that sub-let to the final user, which are cultural institutions, sports teams, schools and associations.
The assignment comprises service and maintenance on all of the Contracting Authority's lifts in the Contracting Authority's buildings. The exceptions are when new lifts are installed and major renovations. In these cases there will normally be a service and maintenance contract with the supplier of the new installation/the supplier responsible for the renovation. In cases where there is no service agreement with the supplier, new/renovated installations are also included in this framework agreement.
The tenderer shall offer service and maintenance for all types of lift.
