The contracting authority requests tenders for data acquisition for continuous travel habit surveys for the period 2016-2019. The data acquisition shall include national travel habit surveys for long and short journeys and travel habit surveys related to the urban environment agreements that involve short journeys.
The objective of the data acquisition is to identify the development features in people's travel habits, as well as following up the urban environment agreements.
It has been decided that the future travel habit surveys shall be subject to major alterations
— The travel habit survey will be continuous instead of every 4th year.
— The respondent can chose between answering the survey through the internet or by telephone interview.
— Simultaneously with the national travel habit survey, a city travel habit survey will be conducted.
When it comes to the data acquisition, the respondents may choose between answering the survey through the internet (an internet-based questionnaire) or by telephone (a telephone interview). The questions will be identical, independent on the respondent answering through the internet or by a telephone interview.
The scope of the contract is:
The work shall be initiated 15.10.2015, at the latest, and shall be completed within 15.10.2019.
The interview period is from 1.1.2016 until 1.7.2019.
The estimated upper financial limit of the assignment for the period, is 10 000 000-30 000 000 NOK, including VAT.
