The tender covers the conclusion of a contract for a major overhaul of an ABB V25 (10 MW) steam turbine for Vordingborg Kraftvarme A/S. The turbine has passed 200,000 EOH and underwent the last major overhaul at 100,000 EOH.

The main overhaul is part of the maintenance of the steam turbine and includes the following deliveries:

1. Cleaning of all components of the turbine, including reducers, valves and servos and inspection of all these components.

2. Delivery and replacement of known lifetime expired parts.

3. Fact-finding.

4. Renovation/repair of defective and damaged parts.

5. Delivery spare parts and replacement of defective parts found during fact-finding.

In the case of deliveries referred to in sections 4 and 5, it is noted that these services are only actualized if there are identified defects or damage to the turbine in connection with deliveries described in sections 1 and 3. The content and scope of deliveries under sections 4 and 5 will therefore depend on the result of the major overhaul and the specific needs arising from the identified defects and damages to the turbine.

The contract is thus a mixed contract consisting of both services in the repair and maintenance of the steam turbine and the purchase of spare parts (purchases) for any repairs and replacements. The contract contains a framework-like element with respect to the content and scope of the purchase of repair services and spare parts.

Since the value of the services is estimated to exceed the value of the supplies, the contract is tendered as a service contract.

Duration of the contract is expected to be approx. 8 months from contract award see also section. II.3. However the contract is not completed until all deliveries in section 1-5 above are completed.
