Trumpas pirkimo aprašymas CERN intends to place a contract for the supply of Low Gain Avalanche Detector (LGAD) sensors for the upgrade of the MTD Endcap Timing Layer (ETL) detector of the CMS experiment. The supply consists of about 31200 and 7800 radiation-hard sensors for the low and high-fluence areas respectively. Series units of the supply shall be delivered from Q2 2023 to Q3 2024.
Interested firms shall have a proven experience and competence in the design and manufacturing of radiation-hard LGAD sensors.
