Trumpas pirkimo aprašymas CERN intends to place a contract for the supply of 320 servers optimized for data processing (including rack mounted form factor, dual cpu multicore motherboards, 1 or 2 GPU hosting capabilities), with on-site warranty of five years, to be installed and operated in the data center building of the surface area at CMS Point 5 (France, Cessy).
Interested firms shall have a proven experience and competence in High Performance Computing either as designer/manufacturer or as integrator/reseller along with on-site maintenance. They shall be ISO 9001 certified and be Intel Tier 1 supplier and/or have an equivalent business and technical relationship with AMD. Typical machines will be based on Intel and/or AMD multicore processors and GPUs : proven experience and competence in GPU hardware integration is required.
