Construction is taking place for a new joint primary school for Hakadal and an associated sports facility at Elvetangen. This has triggered the need for a new intersection design on [National Road] 4.
The approach to the school at Elvetangen will be converted to a fully channelled junction that replaces the current T-intersection, Sloraveien/rv. [National Road] 4. A new subway will be constructed under the national road for pedestrians and cyclists, to provide safe access to the school area for these road user groups.
