Norsk rikskringkasting (hereafter called NRK)) invite companies to a restricted tender competition for at least 3 parallel framework agreements for 2 years with an option for an extension of up to 1+1 year for the procurement of programme cables, sockets and accompanying tools and equipment. The tender competition will occur in two stages. Stage 1: Qualification of suppliers who have applied for participation in the competition. Stage 2: At least five qualified suppliers will be chosen to participate in the competition and will receive the tender documents – provided that there are a sufficient number of suitable suppliers.
Programme cables, sockets and accompanying equipment and components are understood in this procurement to be the products exampled within the following product categories:
1. Programme cables – for use in NRK’s equipment and installations. Main types of cables are Programme cable (sound cable), Coaxial cable (including for HF and Video including HD-TV etc.) and Signal cable (for controlling signals, network etc.).
2. Programme sockets. The programme sockets shall mainly be used for the cables in point 1 in accordance with the specifications stated in the tender documents.
3. Accompanying tools and equipment. It is a prerequisite that there is good access to suitable tools for dismantling, removing insulation, terminating and other preparation of cables and sockets in points 1 and 2 either from the tenderer or documentation that they are available from sub suppliers.
Specifications for products in each category will be in the tender documents.
The tender documents will be made available, as mentioned earlier, for qualified tenderers and the chosen suppliers.
