Short description
In 1989, the E6 was newly constructed as 2 and 3 lanes with a concrete road surface between Jessheim Nord to Mogreina in Ullensaker municipality.
Between 2007 and 2009, the E6 was expanded to 4 lanes between Hovinmoen and Dal, approx. 10 km. Some of the concrete road surface was then removed, however, it was decided to not replace 6,6 km of what is currently northbound lanes. The southbound lanes were constructed according to applicable standards with asphalted road surface.
Since then, the concrete road surfaces has fissured significantly. Therefore, it requires improvement. Current superstructure requirements are stricter than when the road was built in 1989. This means the trough must be made deeper than the current trough, and a new superstructure must be built.
