Short description
The contract includes the establishment of laser welding/hybrid welding as a R and D activity in Norway. The contract also includes training thereof. In order to become a national laboratory and to achieve the best possible effect within the accessible budget (e.g. minimum 15 kW laser), the contracting authority wants to offer numerous applications (cutting, welding, cladding, heat treatment, surface finishing, AM).
