Short description
E16 Hande — Øylo is a part of the improvement for project E16 Fagernes-Øylo. The project includes expanding the current E6 to a road width of 8,5 metres. The objective of the project is to increase the practicability and traffic safety.
The current road has a varying standard and width and is located in a sloping terrain and includes numerous ribbon buildings. Different measures for various parts of the section are therefore required. I.a. road widening, improving the load carrying capacity, replacing the drain and surface water system, curve improvement, levelling the side terrain and a new surface.
