Examination of Chemical Leakage and Biota at a Test Field on the Seabed in the Grenland Fjords

The aim of the project is to continue the examination of 6 established test fields for thin layer coverings with and without active carbon in the Grenland fjords (established in the Opticap project) in the period 2018-2019, with the intention of assessing what effects the different covering materials have on the degree of chemical leakage, take-up of dioxins/dioxin-like PCBs in biota and the recolonisation of the seabed with new habitats.
