Short description
The aim of the procurement is to ensure sufficient capacity and competence for the construction manager, control engineer, SHA consultant and equivalent functions in the Agency for Urban Environment. This will be done by procuring a Framework Agreement for external construction management competence with 3-5 tenderers, provided that there are a sufficient number of suitable tenderers and tenders.
The construction management section currently has 10 permanent employed resources, which will be increased to 17 during 2018. However, the need for construction managers is still greater than what the section can cover. In addition, it has proven to be difficult to employ experienced construction managers, so there is, therefore, a need to procure construction managers with experience from the private market.
